Back pain reliefs / prevention
The human spine is constantly under pressure. While stretching the
back from side to side may provide minimal pain relief, it does not
release disc pressure; a common source of chronic lower back pain. An
increase in spinal disc pressure, coupled with the common activities of
modern life, can hasten the onset of chronic back conditions.
How the spine works
Intervertebral discs, the 'shock absorbers' of the spine contain within
them water and molecules of a 'gel like' substance called
glycosaminoglycans ('GAG'). The GAGs have the property of absorbing
water when under pressure, and expelling it when pressure is relieved.
Causes of back suffering
Unfortunately immobilisation, injury, lack of use and old age lead to a
gradual decrease in our GAGs, which in turn leads to a parallel loss in
water content. If daily 'wear & tear' finally become greater than
the recuperative abilities of our spinal maintenance system, our backs
will feel progressively 'older' and more 'stiff'.
The Nubax® solution
One of the ways to increase water content in the discs is to stretch
the spine. In doing so, pressure is relieved from the GAG’s which
allows the flow of water in around the spinal system to increase, which
in turn allows mobility and the recuperative capabilities of the spine
to also increase.
By
utilizing Nubax® Trio’s unique lever action, you will be able to
provide your back with support and relief, wherever and whenever you
wish. The Nubax® Trio’s design enables the device to be easily
transported or conveniently packed away for storage when not in use.
The
Nubax® Trio offers a sustained form of static traction, which is
extremely effective, yet gentle when compared to other forms of
intermittent traction. Traction applied as a “one off” or at infrequent
intervals, yields little benefit to the user.
When
using the Nubax® Trio, your shoulders and hips are held square to the
spinal column, allowing traction to be applied safely and efficiently
to your spine.
Prevention
The
almost constant pressure experienced by our spine compresses our discs.
This, magnified by the many daily activities of modern life can
eventually lead to back pain, immobility and a reduced quality of life.
How the spine works:
Intervertebral discs, the 'shock absorbers' of the spine contain within
them water and molecules of a 'gel like' substance called
glycosaminoglycans ('GAG'). The GAGs have the property of absorbing
water when under pressure, and expelling it when pressure is relieved.

water content. If daily 'wear & tear' finally become greater than
the recuperative abilities of our spinal maintenance system, our backs
will feel progressively 'older' and more 'stiff'.
Solution:
One way to increase the water content in the disc is to 'stretch' the
spine. By removing pressure from the GAGs and releasing water into the
system, it is possible to maximise the recuperative and mobile
properties of a person's spine.
Preventative measures through Nubax
Sleeping puts the least amount of pressure on the spine in relation to
a normal day of work or recreation. Therefore, the ideal time to apply
a reduction in pressure on the spinal column is just before going to
bed so that the spine receives the maximum amount of pressure relief,
together with the natural recuperative processes that occur during a
good nights sleep.
The Nubax® Trio was designed with ease of
use, effectiveness and affordability at heart. By using the Nubax® Trio
regularly you can aid recovery, prevent reoccurrence and help maintain
the overall health of your spine and lower back.
